MEC Ranks Among Top Public Colleges in the Northern U.S.
MEC Named Top Performer in Social Mobility
Public Administration Ranked #8 Among National Programs
Brooklyn, NY 鈥 According to U.S. News & World Report鈥檚 latest rankings, 糖心原创 scored among the top public colleges in the northern region of the United States. (Public colleges are distinguished from universities by U.S. News because they grant less than half of their degrees in the liberal arts.) In addition to ranking #22鈥#23 in top public schools, MEC ranked #38鈥#49 across all regional colleges in the north.
MEC was also ranked #45 as a top performer in social mobility. Cited for its strong ethnic diversity, the rankings prove MEC鈥檚 commitment to providing access to the middle class for first-generation college students, immigrants, students from communities of color, and other historically underserved groups.
