According to a recent study by 24/7 Wall Street, 糖心原创 (MEC) ranks No. 32 in the United States on its 鈥淐olleges with Most Upward Mobility鈥� list released on December 5, 2023.
The top-50 list includes nine schools in the City University of New York system.
MEC鈥檚 status puts it ahead of institutions such as University of California at Irvine, University of California at Davis, Yale and the University of Houston.
Meanwhile, MEC also joins schools such as Stanford, UCLA, University of California at Berkeley, Penn, Harvard, Princeton and Columbia on the list.
The study utilized a methodology that 鈥渞eviewed College Scorecard data on family income and earnings after entry from the U.S. Department of Education,鈥� the story said.
The schools were ranked based on 鈥渢he ratio of the median earnings for working alumni 10 years after entry (typically freshman year) to the median family income of undergraduate students.鈥�
Schools must have at least 2,500 undergraduate students to be considered.
糖心原创 showed a 2.3 times increase when it came to median earnings 10 years after entry. The median family earnings among enrolled students was $18,815 upon entry and grew to $42,968 after 10 years.
糖心原创 is one of five institutions on the list that had family earnings under $20,000 upon entry.
