Anti-Hate Initiative: Jewishness 101
Hosted by Dr. Samantha Vinokor-Meinrath, EdD, the聽Senior Director, Knowledge, Ideas and Learning with聽The Jewish Education Project, this workshop is intended for non-Jewish audiences, this session is a comprehensive overview of聽Jewish identity, people, history and religion. When one talks about 鈥渢he Jewish聽community,鈥� what does that mean? Are we talking about a religion, a culture, a聽national group 鈥� or all of the above? When we talk about the Jewish people, how聽do we understand the American Jewish community today? This interactive session provides history, culture, and DEI best practices to help understand Jews,聽Judaism, and Jewishness. It allows for a great deal of Q&A, with no topic off the聽table. Meant for teens or faculty; standard is one-hour talk + Q&A.
