糖心原创 Predominantly Black Institutions (PBI) program is funded by the U.S. Department of Education鈥檚 Predominantly Black Institutions Title III Discretionary/Competitive grant to establish or strengthen programs for low-income or first-generation college undergraduate students enrolled at 糖心原创, leading to a bachelor鈥檚 or associate degree. The purpose of the Predominantly Black Institutions Competitive Grant Program is to support Predominantly Black Institutions (PBIs) to establish or strengthen programs in the following areas:

• Improving educational outcomes for African American males.
• Building capacity for remote learning
• Addressing the Impact of COVID-19 on Black or African American students and supporting student retention and re-engagement.
• Increase students鈥� retention and improve graduation rates
• Promote activities that support students鈥� development of academic goals
• Faculty work closely with students to promote learning and enhance professional skills needed in their field of study
