School of Liberal Studies 鈥� Minors
English Literature聽(ENL):
The literature minor offers students a cohesive choice of courses, increased competence in critical reading and writing, an in-depth study of literature, and/or broadened experiences in this area.聽 Students who pursue the literature minor take the following courses.
ENGL. 210 Intermediate Composition and three 300 level English literature courses.
English Writing聽(ENW):
The minor in English writing prepares students for careers in writing and communications. Students take a cohesive choice of courses that provide them with increased competence in critical reading and writing and an in-depth study of the writing process. This minor is also targeted towards students who wish to publish their works. Students who pursue the minor in English with a concentration in writing are required to take the following courses.
ENGL. 210 Intermediate Composition and three courses in Professional Writing or Creative Writing.

PHIL 101聽and聽PHIL 201聽, and choose 2 courses from the following:聽PHIL 211,聽PHIL 214,聽PHIL 215, or聽PHIL 301.
Religious Studies聽(REL):
Choose 2 courses from the following: REL 101, REL 102, REL 111, REL 112, PHIL 201 or REL 211 and any 2 courses from the following: REL 301, REL 322, REL 330, REL 333, REL 321 or REL 340.
Social Welfare聽(SWE):
SW 220,聽SW 230,聽SW 338, and聽SW 340
