Coney Island Amphitheater

We are proud to host our Commencement ceremony at the Coney Island Amphitheater, the cornerstone of the state-of-the-art Seaside Park and Community Arts Center.

Directions

The Coney Island Amphitheater, located at West 21st Street Brooklyn, NY 11224, is easily accessible by public transit or car.

Mass Transit

Subway

We recommend all guests take the D, F, N, or Q subway to Stillwell Avenue, Coney Island. Exit the subway at Stillwell Avenue. Walk to the boardwalk and make a right, walking along the ocean.

  • B64聽to Mermaid Avenue and Stillwell Avenue
  • B68聽to Mermaid Avenue and Stillwell Avenue
  • B74聽to Mermaid Avenue/W 21st

Driving

  • Take the聽Belt Parkway to exit 6聽toward Cropsey Avenue/Coney Island
  • Merge onto Shore Parkway聽and continue straight
  • Use the right lane to聽turn slightly left onto Bay 52nd Street
  • Use the right two lanes to turn right onto Cropsey Avenue
  • Head south on Cropsey Avenue and聽continue onto West 17th Street
  • Use the right two lanes to聽turn right onto Surf Avenue
  • At the third cross street,聽turn left onto West 21st Street

Parking

There will be聽two parking lots聽available for graduates and guests:

  1. 3050 W 21st聽Street, Brooklyn, NY 11224, with access on 22nd聽Street and Surf Ave, directly behind the venue.
  1. 1904 Surf Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11224. The 2nd聽overflow lot is a couple of blocks away at the baseball stadium with a direct path to the venue entrance from the boardwalk. The Theater has attendants directing people once the first lot fills up.

There is a fee of $13 for all parking and it is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
